CHANDIGARH: Punjab Cabinet today approved the summoning of the 3rd Session of 14th Vidhan Sabha from December 17 to 21, 2012.

A decision to this effect was taken here at a meeting of the Cabinet chaired by Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal in CMO this morning.

Giving the details, the spokesperson of the Chief Minister’s Office said that the session would commence on December 17 in the afternoon with obituary references. Financial Business if any, would be undertaken on December 18 and Legislative business on December 19.

Non-official business would be conducted on December 20 and the house would adjourn sine-die after the proposed legislative business on December 21, 2012. There would be six sittings during these five days and double sitting would be on December 19.
