PCC constitutes panel to probe Panchayat wards' 'arbitrary' delimitation

CHANDIGARH: Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee President Capt Amarinder Singh today constituted a committee to look into the arbitrary delimitation of Panchayat wards across the state.
Senior party leader and MLA Talwandi Sabo Jeet Mohinder Sidhu will be its chairman while ex-MLA Sukhpal Khaira will be its convenor.
The PCC President said the committee besides looking into the deliberately discrepancies into the delimitation aimed at facilitating the victory of Akali candidates, will also liaison with the State Election Commission.
The other members of the committee include Love Kumar Goldy, Randeep Nabha, Hardayal Kambhoj, Harminder Gill, Gurkirat Kotli, Tarlochand Soond, Balbir Sidhu, Ajit Singh Shant, Aman Arora, Dr Mohinder Rinwa and Laly Majithia.
The committee will be assisted by two senior advocates, APS Deol and Gurvinder Singh.
