MOGA: Senior Congress leader and former Punjab Chief Minister Rajinder Kaur Bhattal today said that the Badals’ family was turning to be dictators and it was important to put leash on them which was possible by getting them defeated in Moga byelection.

Addressing a series of public meetings in support of the party candidate Vijay Sathi, Bhattal maintained that the Badals had grown into dictators and had concentrated all the power in themselves only. She said, they had grabbed everything and thrown the state into bankruptcy.

The former Chief Minister disclosed that the Badals had used power for their own advantage. She said, the family of the Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal had accumulated 600 buses within a span of six years from a mere total of six. In the process they destroyed all the public and other private transport companies. She said, there appeared to be no end to Badals’ greed.

Bhattal asserted that Moga byelection was not only important from the local point of view, but for the entire state. She said, a firm and strong message needed to be sent to the Badals that their dictatorship cannot last long if they continued like this.

She said, people of entire Punjab were looking forward to people of Moga to convey a message so that better sense prevails among the Badals and they start thinking about the public welfare also and not just their own personal welfare.
