Bajwa: It’s a warning to honest officers

Chandigarh : Partap Singh Bajwa, Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) chief, today said that the assault on senior IAS officer Kahan Singh Pannu was a wake-up call for the people of Punjab and the bureaucracy to understand the "sinister" designs of the SAD-BJP Government.
In a statement, he reiterated that the attack on Pannu was a deep-rooted conspiracy to warn honest officers to "fall in line with the corrupt regime or face public humiliation."
Bajwa alleged that the person who had uploaded the video on the assault on Pannu on YouTube was an associate of Balbir Singh Sidhu, SAD in charge of Talwandi Sabo, who had joined the SAD at the instance of Education Minister Sikandar Singh Maluka.
Nawanshahr: The Master Cadre Union, Punjab, has condemned the assault on Kahan Singh Pannu during rescue operations in Uttarakhand. The Union has sought an inquiry into the incident and stern action against the guilty.
