Anandpur Sahib : “Not only Rahul Gandhi, I may also be killed one day the way my grandfather Beant Singh was killed,” Member Parliament Ravneet Singh Bittu said here on Thursday.

Bittu said that just as Rahul’s grandmother and father were killed, his grandfather had also sacrificed his life for the nation.

“My grandfather brought peace and prosperity in Punjab and was thus a target of the terrorists. I am fully aware that at some time, I may also be killed by such forces,” he said.

Bittu had come to Gurdwara Hari Rai Sahib for a camp organised for handicapped people.

The service has been started by the Central government wherein artificial limbs, wheelchairs and other such material is distributed among the needful.

Rana K P Singh, Harjit Singh Jeeta and other well-known faces from the city were also present on the occasion.
