Chandigarh : Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) chief Partap Singh Bajwa today said he was open to an investigation by any agency into his financial transactions related to land deals as he had “never committed any offence”.

Accusing Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Badal of resorting to “double standards”, Bajwa alleged the duo had been under attack over the years even from within the Akali Dal for their alleged overt and covert deals.

“But even as they target me, I will carry on my resolve to fight corruption and take the issue to its logical conclusion,” he said in a statement issued here. He said the Badals themselves had been facing trial in a corruption case in a Mohali court.
