Chandigarh : Former CM Capt Amarinder Singh today cautioned PPCC chief Partap Singh Bajwa against going public about his opinion on party candidates for the Lok Sabha elections, particularly his remarks that some of them were "facing anti-incumbency".

In a press release, Capt pointed out that Bajwa had been quoted in media that there was anti-incumbency against some sitting Congress MPs. He said this would create dissidence among party workers and demoralise the potential candidates.

Advising the PPCC president to exercise restraint, Capt Amarinder said he (Bajwa) should raise these matters with the party high command.
