District Youth Congress protests against fuel hike

Amritsar: Protesting against the hike in Petrol and Diesel prices, the District Youth Congress under the leadership of Vikas Soni came out strongly against Bharatiya Janata Party and demandig the roll back in the hike of fuel prices.

Youth Congress leader Vikas Soni who led the horse carriage procession here on Tuesday at Hal gate, said that people were left with no option, but to travel on horse carriages and bullock carts as the prices of petrol and diesel continue to rise.

The leaders alleged that BJP has failed to curb the inflation. The protesters blamed the government for failing to deliver its promise of good days. He said that after BJP came into power, the government forget their promises made with the public before the election. He said that Modi betrayed the innocent public and played with their feelings by increasing the price of fuel.

The leaders said that BJP had assured the people of this country that they would control inflation, but they failed in their promises.
