Patiala : Congress candidate from Patiala Urban Preneet Kaur on Tuesday asked Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal to give account of Rs 150 crore to the people of Patiala which she got sanctioned from the UPA government for Rajindra Hospital.

Addressing a series of meetings during her campaign in different parts of the city, Kaur said after her persistent efforts the Congress-led UPA government at the Centre sanctioned Rs 150 crore for upgrading the facilities at the Rajindra Hospital. “Not a single penny has been used for the hospital and I don’t know where they put the money,” she wondered.

The former Union Minster said since the Central grants are utilised by the state governments only, the SAD got the money and probably diverted it to Bathinda and Lambi. “When Badal comes to you in a day or two and ask him as to where did the Rs 150 crore meant for Rajindra Hospital go,” she told the people of Patiala telling them they have been cheated and Badal will have no answers.
