Capt Amarinder honours Ludhiana DBEE team

Ludhiana district excelled in the 4th Mega Job Fair held in February this year under the Punjab government’s mission Ghar Ghar Rozgar.
Chief Minister Capt Amrinder Singh and Employment Generation Minister Charanjit Singh Channi honoured the District Employment Bureau and Enterprise (DBEE) officials for attaining number one position in Punjab by providing 5,201 jobs to unemployed youth of Ludhiana district.
In all, seven job fairs were organised at subdivision level by DC Pardeep Aggarwal in Payal, Khanna, Samrala, Jagraon, Raikot and two in Ludhiana. Various companies from industry and service sector participated in these job fairs and recruited job seekers.
Navdeep Singh, deputy CEO, DBEE, said, “Under mission Ghar Ghar Rozgar, we are adding more employers with employment bureau so that they can provide more jobs.”
Rajan Sharma, additional CEO, appealed to the employers as well job seekers to register themselves on www.ghargharrozgar.punjab.gov.in as it is a government of Punjab portal, which is a platform for job seekers and employers.
