Sangrur: Former SAD minister Gobind Singh Kanjhla's son Amandeep Kanjhla on Monday joined the Congress under the leadership of senior vice-president of the PPCC Kewal Singh Dhillon, who is vying for the Sangrur ticket. Dhillon said, “His joining the Congress will strengthen the party. The Congress is committed towards the development of the state. More SAD leaders will join the C ongress in coming days.” Kanjhla said: “I have joined the party after seeing the welfare policies of CM Capt Amarinder Singh. Residents are fed up with the policies of the BJP government and want to see the Congress at the Centre.”
