Amritsar : The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD-Taksali) has made it clear that there was no question of withdrawing its candidate, Gen (retired) J J Singh from the electoral battlefield from Khadoor Sahib constituency in favour of Bibi Paramjit Kaur Khalra who has been fielded by the Punjab Ekta Party (PEP) from the same Lok Sabha constituency. Sekhwan on his part said that there was no question of his quitting the party which he had helped form.
Brahmpura praised the Special Investigating Team (SIT) probing the Bebhal Kalan firing and other related cases and said that the Haryana government had deliberately not permitted SIT to question Dera Sacha Sauda head Ram Raheem, who is in custody in Rohtak jail. The government is trying to save the Badals, he claimed.
