Bathinda : State Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal held a series of holding meetings in favour of Congress candidate Amarinder Singh Raja Warring over the past couple of days.

He addressed meetings in Khaliyiwala, Jandawala, Khemuana, Jeeda, Goniana Kalan, Goniana Khurd, Bullaad Vinju, Amargarh villages of Bhucho assembly segment.

Addressing the public, he said, “In last 10 years SAD- BJP ruined the state but now Congress government is putting in all their efforts to bring the state finances on track.”

Congress government has waived off loans of farmers in Punjab and now other congress state governments of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chattisgarh are following the same, he added.

Manpreet appealed to the public to vote for Congress candidates in Lok Sabha elections.

Talking about Congress manifesto for 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the Finance Minister said, “If voted to power at Centre, Congress will present a separate ‘Kisan Budget’ every year and also the party has promised to bring a permanent National Commission on Agricultural Development and Planning.”

He was accompanied by Pritam Singh Kotbhai, Avtar Singh Goniana, Gogi Sharma, Sukhmandar Singh Brar, Khushwant Warring and other Congress leaders.
