Moga : Campaigning in favour of Congress candidate Mohammad Sadique from Faridkot constituency, Cabinet Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa alleged that the previous SAD-BJP government did not pay attention to the basic problems of the poor sections and after the elections, the Punjab government will order a probe into the development projects done across the state during the SAD-BJP regime.

Addressing the gathering at Sangatpura village under Baghapurana assembly constituency on Thursday, Randhawa attacked Akali Dal for the sacrilege incident in Bargari and the police firing and cane charges of the Sikhs at Kotkapura and Behbal Kalan.

“People will teach a lesson to the SAD by defeating all the 13 candidates across the Punjab,” he said.

Lashing out at SAD-BJP candidate Gulzar Singh Ranike, Randhawa said that first he was defeated in Majha region and now he will face another defeat in Malwa.

‘’Mohammad Sadique is an innocent man and while he was in Punjab assembly, Parkash Singh Badal had tried to defame Sadique. I appeal to the people of the constituency that they should come forward openly in favour of Sadique,” he added.

Prominent among those who addressed the public meetings include MLA Darshan Singh Brar, Singer Ranjit Kaur, Mohammad Sadique and others.
