‘Deol’s criticism of Jakhar comes from his political ignorance’

Gurdaspur : Senior Congress leader and Rural Development Minister in the Punjab government Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa today said that every new day was bringing new revelation about BJP candidate Sunny Deol’s political ignorance.
Reacting to the BJP candidate’s criticism of the Congress candidate Sunil Jakhar that he was speaking against him, Bajwa said, “There is nothing surprising about it as we know Sunny Deol is absolutely ignorant even about the basic things in politics.”
He said the BJP candidate should know that debate and discussion and questions and answers are part of political discourse. “It is not a film set where you are given everything scripted including your smiles and sorrows, it is hardcore politics where you have to be your own master,” Bajwa advised Deol.
The Congress leader maintained that Deol may be a good actor but that does not necessarily qualify him to become a leader and a representative of the people and that too of a border area like Grudaspur.
