Ludhiana : Congress candidate MP Ravneet Singh Bittu today visited more than 200 booths to review the polling process and met party functionaries performing duties inside and outside the polling booths to facilitate the voters. He appreciated the excellent work of the party workers deputed as polling agents at booths and outside. On the conclusion of polling, Bittu expressed gratitude to the voters for coming out in large numbers to exercise their vote in a peaceful way, which will help in further strengthening the democracy in the country. Bittu also expressed his gratitude to the party leaders, workers and other functionaries for making all out efforts to mobilize the voters to reach polling booths for casting votes. He also asserted that it is clear from the huge rush on Congress booths that the party will register victory with a big margin. Cabinet Minster Bharat Bhushan Ashu, Rakesh Panday, Surinder Dawar, Kuldeep Singh Vaid, Sanjay Talwar (all MLAs) supervised the polling process in their respective constituencies and appreciated the party functionaries for their hard work. Former minister Malkiat Singh in Dakha Jahraon Halka, Major Singh Bhaini, Halka Dakha, president DCC Ashwani Sharma in Ludhiana city and president DCC (R) Soni Galib in Ludhiana Rural, also visited the polling booths and encouraged the voters and party workers.
