One of the medical students told, “We went to Majithia’s house so that we could discuss our demand with Harsimrat Badal, but we all felt disappointed when she did not spare even few minutes for us.”

The students were protesting in Amritsar since September 28 and demanding that government should transfer them to state-based recognised medical colleges from the present college as it is not recognised by Medical Council of India till date.
