Amritsar :The Punjab government’s Chief Parliamentary Secretary (CPS), Health, Dr Navjot Kaur Sidhu comes with new move to criticise her own government. While talking to Daily Post, Dr Sidhu said that she would go for ‘Paidal Yatra’ towards Chandigarh to bring the first installment of Rs 100 crore which was promised by Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal for development. She said, “Within a month I will conduct the march from Amritsar to Chandigarh along with my supporters.”

Dr Sidhu added, “I believe in development so instead of concentrating on petty issues, I would prefer to take steps for the progress of Amritsar. Deputy Chief Minister had promised to allocate Rs 100 crore to me for the development of my constituency and other areas of holy city, but unfortunately, I have not received the first installment of that amount till date.”

“Now I have decided to remind the government about its promises they made to me,” said Dr Sidhu. She added, “It was for the second time when I think about this march, as earlier some of the leaders of ruling government had changed my mind and requested me to not to organise such procession.” “I will not change my mind this time at any cost,” added Dr Sidhu.

She said, “Planning of this march is under progress and we will decide our halt points in the time period we have got.” “Hopefully we will take shelter in the gurdwaras on the way in the nights,” added Dr Sidhu.

BJP leader, “Many of the development projects of Amritsar are still pending due to lack of funds, if government would allocate the money to me then I would utilise it for the welfare of local residents without any delay.”

When asked about the allegations of Upkar Singh Sandhu, SAD president, Amritsar, then Dr Sidhu says, “Everyone knows the reality and Sandhu must recollect the facts well before blaming anyone else.”
