CHANDIGARH: Congress deputy leader in the Lok Sabha and president of the All India Jat Maha Sabha Captain Amarinder Singh, on Saturday, blamed Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal for denial of reservation benefits to the Jats in Punjab. He said the onus for the denial of reservation to the Jats in Punjab lay on Badal as he was sitting over the decision.
Talking to a delegation of the Jats who had come to meet him here, Amarinder agreed with them that Punjab was the only state in the country which was deliberately withholding benefits to the poor Jat population, belonging to both Sikh and Hindu communities.
