JALANDHAR: Bharatiya Janata Party national secretary and national co-inchage for party’s membership drive Sudha Yadav on Thursday said they will continue to maintain pressure on their alliance partner Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) demanding resignation of Punjab revenue minister Bikram Singh Majithia, who has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for questioning in the multi-crore drug racket case.

“He should resign on moral grounds. Our state party chief Kamal Sharma has already demanded his resignation. Even as the chief minister has expressed his opinion against Majithia’s resignation, our national leadership will continue to maintain pressure on the SAD for this,” said Yadav, who was here for launching a drive against drugs by BJP’s cultural wing.
