Raja Warring slams BJP over drug issue

AMRITSAR: Newly-appointed All India Youth Congress (AIYC) president Amrinder Singh Raja Warring on Sunday said that the Punjab BJP’s strategy of ‘crying wolf ’ over the drug issue could not absolve the party as it has remained a “a party to every wrong that has been done in the state over the last eight years” .

Warring was in the holy city on Sunday to pay obeisance at the Golden Temple after taking over as president of the AIYC. He asked the local Youth Congress leaders to get ready as Vidhan Sabha elections could be held anytime in Punjab. He said by voicing their opinion against drug addiction and drug trafficking, the BJP is trying to wash its hands off the “dirty linen”.
