Muktsar : Manpreet Badal, PPP chief, today demanded introduction of “Confiscation of Drug Dealers Property Act” so that it could act as a deterrent to drug dealers.
Addressing a gathering of supporters at the Maghi Mela here today, Manpreet alleged the problem was that almost all ruling parties had sought the support of drug dealers to benefit from their riches.
“Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal should convene an all-party meeting to evolve a consensus against drugs. All political outfits must give a written undertaking against use of drugs during elections,” he said.
Those dealing with such trade, directly or indirectly, should not be given ticket during elections, he said.
