BADALS, CAPTAIN MOURN DEATH
Chief minister Parkash Singh Badal and deputy CM Sukhbir Singh Badal on Wednesday condoled Randhawa’s death.
Badal described Randhawa as an honest, upright and gentleman politician. “He was one of those leaders who were totally dedicated to the cause of the downtrodden and always upheld moral values in political life,” the chief minister said.
Former chief minister and deputy leader of the Congress in the Lok Sabha Capt Amarinder Singh said Randhawa’s untimely death was a great loss to the Congress. His death has created a void in the party that will be difficult to fill, Amarinder added.
