Kapurthala: Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) spokesperson Sukhpal Singh Khera may join AAP within the next few days while rebels from Congress and BJP across the district are ready to jump into the Aam Aadmi Party bandwagon. Former MLA from Bholath assembly constituency Sukhpal Singh Khera was feeling depressed because of factionalism in the party which lead to a poor performance of Congress in the recently held Nadala Nagar panchayat elections and Congress just managed to win only three seats and its rival party, SAD registered a landslide victory with its nine wins in the newly notified Nadala Nagar panchayat elections despite facing anti-incumbency factor. When Khera was contacted to comment upon it, his PA was the one who confirmed the news saying that conversation with AAP leaders is going on in this regard and very soon an official announcement will be made. Khera was looking bending towards AAP since it was originated and he many times praised AAP convener and present Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and ideology of AAP and a few months earlier.
