Chandigarh : Urging Prime Minister Narendra Modi to sack his minister Giriraj Singh, Congress MLA Parminder Singh Pinki said they would ghearo BJP leaders, if they did not stop speaking against women and minorities.
Parminder Singh said the PM should perform his “rajdharma” and sack the ministers who had been making racial comments and harming the country’s interest at the international level. He said Congress MLAs would not tolerate badmouthing against party president Sonia Gandhi and would gherao the BJP leaders if they continued to target the Congress leadership.
He said, “Derogatory comments made by the cabinet colleague of Modi had wider dimensions as the same manifested the parochial and archaic framework within which the BJP and its parent organisation, the RSS, functioned. It was against the spirit and concept of secular traditions of the country.”
“The slanderous comments made by Giriraj Singh have been condemned by all saner elements of society, then why Modi is silent on it,” he said.
