MOGA: People’s Party of Punjab (PPP) president and former Punjab finance minister Manpreet Singh Badal has demanded a CBI inquiry into the scale of assets amassed by Punjab deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal. “Sukhbir owned just four buses in 2007 and now owns 400 buses,” he alleged.

Lashing out at his sister-inlaw, Union minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Manpreet said: “She has been acting like a dictator queen and behaving like she knows nothing about ownership of the buses. She must resign from his post as minister because she has misguided Parliament.”

He also questioned the police reluctance to register a case against the owners of Orbit Aviation. “If the owners could be booked in Bokaro and Ansal Plaza case, why have the owners of Orbit Aviation not been booked,” he said.
