SAS NAGAR: To condone and condemn Moga bus incident in which a 14-year-old was allegedly molested and thrown out of a moving bus, the local Congress unit led by local MLA Balbir Singh Sidhu held a candle light march here on Wednesday.

The march started from Sanatan Dharam Mandir, Phase 11, and culminated at Phase 8, SAS Nagar. Recently-elected councillors and locals attended the candle-light march.

Condemning the statement of Punjab cabinet minister Surjit Singh Rakhra - he had allegedly said that whatever happened in Moga was the wish of almighty - Sidhu called the statement shameful and appealed to public they should socially boycott the Badal family-run transport.
