Valtoha alleges Bhagwant threatened him

Amritsar : Chief Parliamentary Secretary Virsa Singh Valtoha today accused AAP MP Bhagwant Mann of threatening him on the phone while the latter was in “inebriated condition” last night.
Valtoha, as per a release issued here today, said he had participated in a debate about drug menace in Punjab on a news channel last night during which he had revealed that “Mann even goes to Parliament in an inebriated condition”.
He alleged that Mann subsequently called him up from his official mobile number around 10.15 pm and threatened him for making that comment against him on a news channel. “Caring a damn about political and moral values, Mann issued a threat to me that I will have to face the consequences for what I did,” he said.
Valtoha claimed the way Mann talked to him during his 20-minute phone call was highly condemnable. Mann has denied threatening Valtoha. He had merely objected to his utterances while asking him to prove the charges levelled by him, he said.
