BENRA (SANGRUR): Aam Adami Party (AAP) Lok Sabha member Bhagwant Mann, on Tuesday, accused the SAD-BJP government of tapping the telephones of the party leaders as it was afraid of AAP’s growing influence.

He said the government should rather be afraid of the power of a common man, who has the ability to revolt against its ‘misrule’. He urged the people to vote out the SAD-BJP government in the coming assembly election in 2017. On the sangat darshan of Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal Mann in Dhuri, he said, “By visiting the constituency, the CM cannot solve the problems of the villagers.” Mann was speaking to mediapersons during his mission promoting cancer awareness in Sangrur and Barnala districts in association with the Tapowan Trust of Sri Ganga Nagar. The cancer detection van will remain in both districts for seven days where samples would be collected for examination free of cost. The van will cover Marot Sahib, Dhodhogal, Malerkotla, Fikriwala and Dhilwan.
