Chandigarh: Indian youth Congress Election Commissioner Raj Kumar Kataria on Monday announced the party’s performers’ list carrying 13 names of prospective candidates. Talking to media persons here, he said that the elections for the Punjab Youth Congress will be held by the end of June. The membership drive of Youth Congress crossed 3.12 lakh in Punjab and after rejection of the ineligible candidates, a total of 2.8 lakh members were left in the final list. “The last date for scrutiny is June 12 and on the same day, the existing body of Punjab Youth Congress body will also be dissolved,” he declared.

The last day for filing appeal for the other candidates for consideration into performers’ list is June 15. The released list of 13 candidates Deepinder Singh Randhawa (Gurdaspur), Poonam Kangra (Sangrur), Harsimran Bajwa (Pathankot), Amarprit Singh Lali (Hoshiarpur), Gurkimat Sidhu (Barnala), Binny Nabha (Nabha), Gurpinder Singh Mahal (Ajnala), Jagdeep Singh Goldy (Jalalabad), Kushbazz Jatana (Talwandi Sabo), Baljeet Singh Para, Ashu (Bhadaur), Ansari (SAnaur) and Kulbir Singh Zira (Zira).
