Badal concerned with welfare of his family: Chhotepur

GURDASPUR: Aam Admi Party (AAP), Punjab, convener Sucha Singh Chhotepur on Saturday said chief minister Parkash Singh Badal was concerned only with the welfare of his family.

Talking to mediapersons at his residence at Chhotepur village near here, the AAP leader said whatever Union home minister Rajnath Singh and BJP president Amit Shah said in their speeches at the 350th foundation anniversary of Anandpur Sahib on Friday was meaningless, except their comments on drug abuse in Punjab.

He said Badal would not curb the drug menace in Punjab because his nears and dears were involved in the drug trade. He said the NDA government was promoting the interests of the neighbouring states of Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir by giving package to their industry while the Punjab industry was dying due to apathy of the government.
