Patiala : Taking a serious note of the alleged utterances made against him by Aam Aadmi Party’s state convener Sucha Singh Chhotepur, MP Dharamvira Gandhi today questioned credentials of AAP leaders and their capability to lead the party in Punjab.

He said persons having dubious political and social credentials, who had nothing in common with the AAP ideology, would not be able to successfully lead the struggle against the current tyranny of the Akali-BJP combine and the corrupt Congress in the 2017 Assembly elections.

He accused Chhotepur of frequently changing parties in the past and being infamous for political opportunism. With such persons at the helm of affairs, the party would find it difficult to project itself as a party with a difference. In fact, ever since Chhotepur was made convener of the party’s state unit, he had created factionalism by appointing his stooges on various positions so as to derail the party from its real objectives. Gandhi said he was determined to serve the people of Patiala for the next four years.
