GURDASPUR: Condemning the terror attack in Dinanagar, Punjab Congress chief Partap Singh Bajwa said it exposed the vulnerability of the state to terror attacks and laxity of the Akali Dal-BJP government in the state.

He said it was a wake-up call for the Centre and state governments. He paid tributes to superintendent of police Baljeet Singh who sacrificed his life while battling the terrorists and all those killed in the attack.

“Chief minister Parkash Singh Badal has passed the buck to the Centre saying the infiltration should have been checked at the border. His party is part of the government at the Centre and he must share the blame. He can’t shift the responsibility,” Bajwa said in a statement.

He said Punjab already has a history of terrorism. It has passed through the dark days earlier. Today’s incident is very serious. Punjab once again is under terrorist threat and the governments at the Centre and in the state will have to take a very serious view of this, Bajwa added.
