Badals biased, even Akalis complaining: Amarinder

Issru (Khanna) : Congress Deputy Leader in the Lok Sabha Capt Amarinder Singh alleged resentment against the Badals was brewing among Akali MLAs.
Captain was addressing the annual political conference here organised by Khanna MLA Gurkirat Singh Kotli in memory of Shaheed Karnail Singh Issru here yesterday.
He said: “It is not just Congress MLAs or leaders who are levelling allegations of discrimination against the Badal family, even their own party MLAs have started staging dharnas against them.”
On Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal accusing him of spreading rumours about resentment among Akali MLAs, he said: “The SAD MLAs have been openly accusing Badals of discrimination what more proof does he (Badal) want?” Kotli said it was a forgone conclusion that Capt Amarinder would be the next Chief Minister of Punjab and people desperately wanted him to take over “to save the state from the clutches of a corrupt government”.
Probe recovery of detonators
Jalandhar: Congress Deputy Leader in the Lok Sabha Capt Amarinder Singh on Sunday demanded a probe into the recovery of detonators from a vehicle of an Akali leader. On reports that the state government was trying to hush-up the matter, Aamrinder said it was a serious issue and needed to be probed. He alleged Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal’s tacit approval on the issue couldn’t be ruled out. He said: “I know Badal quite well. He always resorts to such tactics whenever he realises that power is slipping out of his hands.”
Capt, Bajwa at ex-minister's bhog
