Moga : Unfazed by factionalism and subsequent suspension of its two MPs, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Punjab has planned a long-drawn offensive against the SAD-BJP government on corruption, drugs, farm crisis, unemployment and fiscal mess in the run up to the 2017 Assembly elections.

Addressing a public rally at Moga this evening, senior party leader Sanjay Singh, state convener Sucha Singh Chhotepur, MPs Bhagwant Mann and Sadhu Singh called upon people to gear up to “uproot the Akalis who have ruined the state and ensure a Delhi-like win for AAP in 2017”.

Sanjay Singh said the party had planned agitations, rallies and public interactions in the run-up to the elections to expose the SAD-BJP leadership on public issues.

He assured the gathering that AAP would bring back Punjab to the number one spot in the country. The state now stood at 17th position due to the wrong policies of the previous governments, he alleged.

He alleged that the SAD-BJP leadership was directly responsible for the flow of drugs into the state.

Bhagwant Mann alleged: “Gharan vichon saaf karan vala jharu hun Akali and Congress sarkaran de pae hoe gand nu agaami chona vich saaf karega” (the broom being used to clean our house will now clean the dirt spread by previous Akali and Congress governments in Punjab in the coming elections).
