Police going soft in graft case, alleges Congress

Ferozepur : Congress workers led by party MLA from Ferozepur (Urban) Parminder Singh Pinky today held a protest against the police “inaction” in the much-hyped graft case involving certain BJP leaders.

Though the police have arrested former BJP’s District Yuva Morcha chief Jaspal Singh Sandhu and another accused Lakhwinder Lakha, the Congress demanded that arrest of the remaining accused.

Pinki alleged the police were going soft in the matter under influence of their political bosses. They held a protest march that started from Delhi Gate and culminated at Arya Samaj chowk.
