Amritsar : Commenting on the present situation in Punjab, the district Congress Committee resident Gurjeet Singh Aujla said that Badals have ruined religious and cultural values of Sikhs and Punjabis with their anti-Sikh and anti-Punjab policeis.

He said that the misuse of Akal Takhat Sahib and SGPC, sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib and suspension of ‘Panj Pyaras’, all were an example of Badal’s active implementation of Modi’s fascist agenda. He said that ‘Panj Pyaras’ have great status for Sikhs, they were the representatives of Guru Gobind Singh and were under no authority of any committee.

He further said that it was evident from history that even tenth master Guru Gobind Singh accepted and followed the instructions of the ‘Panj Pyaras’ but Badal suspended them for summoning Jathedars. He said that no living being can suspend ‘Panj Pyaras’ till they follow Guru’s code and stay on the path of Truth. However, Badal has his own code which has no place for Guru Granth Sahib and Guru Sahiban and SGPC, Akalis are following Badal’s code without listening to their conscience. He further said that Guru Granth Sahib has to sacrifice himself to uncover Badal’s tyranny and awaken the people of Punjab to begin revolution against Badals.
