‘AAP won’t allot party tickets to people with tainted image in 2017’

GURDASPUR: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab convener Sucha Singh Chhotepur on Friday said corrupt, criminal and morally characterless elements would be kept at bay while allotting party tickets for the 2017 Punjab assembly elections.

Addressing a group of young party workers at his residence at Chhotepur village near here, he said the youth of Punjab had been looking forward to throwing the SAD-BJP government out of power in 2017 assembly elections.

Chhote pur alle g ed that the SAD- BJP alliance had looted the exchequer for its selfish interests and burdened the state economy under unbearable debts and loans.

Chhotepur said due to wrong policies of the Badal government some of the farmers were committing suicide due to their inability to pay off their debts to banks or private money lenders.

He said unemployed youth were being caught in the drug net and finally ending their lives at young age.

Chhotepur said the AAP would repeat its Delhi victory in Punjab as well and was poised to form its government in Punjab in 2017.
