Chandigarh : Congress leader and former Union Minister Manish Tewari on Saturday said that the Aam Aadmi Party and the SAD-BJP coalition are playing a fixed match in the 2017 Punjab elections. He alleged that the BJP-SAD coalition was funding the public rallies and meetings of the AAP. Tiwari was talking to media persons at his Sector 19 residence with the city Congress workers who were present to congratulate him on being re-elected as a spokesperson of the party. He said that the Congress was fighting the elections to secure victory over anarchy and mis-governance.
He said that the AAP was palying a role similar to what Manpreet Badal led PPP performed in 2012 Assembly poll. However, the local Congress leaders were found missing from the public meeting held by Tiwari at Mani Majra. Reactingto it Tiwari reasoned, “This function was organised by the Youth Congress and no formal invitations were sent. Otherwise no one was also stopped from attending the meeting.” Neither from Pawan Bansal group nor local Congress leaders like Subhash Chawla, Pardeep Chabbra or Poonam Sharma was seen attending the meeting.
Brar’s joining AAP won’t affect SAD: Chandumajra

He said that the people of Delhi are fed up with the AAP governance where MLAs are getting salaries more than any other states.
