Barnala : Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Sangrur MP Bhagwant Mann on Monday said that former MP Jagmeet Singh Brar and former MLA Vijay Sathi were not joining his party. “These are rumours being spread by some vested interests,” he said here during his visit. It is worth mentioning that Mann himself is trying to be projected as the AAP’s chief ministerial candidate in Punjab Assembly poll scheduled in 2017. He also said that his party, if voted to power, would initiate legal action against those involved in the poster controversy.
Mann said that the Assembly poll in 2017 would be a historical development which would see the AAP forming the government in the state. Referring to the poor turn-out in Khadoor Sahib by-poll, he said: “People are disenchanted the performance of SAD-BJP alliance in the state. This was the only reason that they did not come out to vote in a large number,” he said.
