CHANDIGARH: Punjab Congress chief Capt Amarinder Singh ridiculed chief minister Parkash Singh Badal’s dreams of forming the government in the state again in 2017 saying, he ( Badal) should actually prepare himself for political exile that he faces after the assembly polls.

“Given the current circumstances and the anger prevailing among people against the Badals, exile will be the only option left for them as people will chase them out for all their sins of omission and commission during the two tenures,” Amarinder said. Even now the Badals cann’t dare to venture out in public without huge security cover, he claimed.

Badal had failed all sections be it farmers, youth, industry or employees, said Amarinder. “He could never look beyond his clan with seven of his family members as MLAs in the Vidhan Sabha. Of these, four are ministers and another one is a Union minister,” he added.
