Chandigarh : Congress legislators today demanded the expulsion of Jagmeet Brar for “gross indiscipline and rebellious activities that are harming the party’s interest in the state”.

The MLAs today alleged that Brar had embarked upon a destructive path to sabotage the party’s campaign in the state. “He must be expelled at the earliest”, they demanded.

Brar said he had not been issued any show-cause notice. "Whatever I have said is for the betterment of the party. I want unity among the leaders. Expulsion is not solution," he said.

Faridkot: Brar today visited Morawali village to sympathise with the family of farmer Baldev Singh who committed suicide two days ago. He said the government should provide loans to distressed farmers at 3 per cent interest. He again praised Arvind Kejriwal for the odd-even plan to fight pollution in Delhi.
