Parliamentarian Dullo expressed his anguish about the incident while talking to selected media persons at his residence at Khanna, on Monday. Talking to media persons he said that nobody was safe in Punjab where a noble personality like Mata Chand Kaur could be killed in broad day light, then how can the life of a lay man be safe? Dullo went to the extent of describing the incident a possible nexus between the politicians and police and even smugglers who indulge only in making money without caring for anyone’s life.
The MP alleged that politicians and police are behind the drug menace in Punjab and are minting money by all means. He alleged that in every nook and corner of any city and sub-urban areas, the drugs, mainly Chitta, could be found while the state government is claiming that they are working against the drug menace. Dullo alleged that if the government and administration are honest against the drug menace, then why this menace is mushrooming day by day.
