Rupnagar : Vetran Congress leader and Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament Shamsher Singh Dullo said that in the next assembly elections, the main contest will be between Congress and SAD-BJP combined, as people would reject Aam Aadami Party for doing nothing in Delhi. Criticising the Aam Aadami Party (AAP), Dullo said that the AAP has become a party of special people, particularly those who have been expelled from the Congress or Shiromani Akali Dal are joining the AAP. Dullo also said satirically that IAS, PCS and other high-level officials who have earned a huge amount of money by fair or foul means during their service, have become the members of AAP, which makes it a ‘Khaas Party’ (special party).

Answering a query, Dullo claimed that Congress is united under the leadership of Capt Amarinder Singh and the party will come to power with a record victory. Dullo also revealed that Capt Amarinder’s foreign tour would be very fruitful for the Congress Party because NRI Punjabi plays a very significant role at the time of elections. However, Dullo denied commenting on the expulsion of Jagmeet Brar but in a mocking tone and passing a comment on Hans Raj Hans claimed that he (Dullo) has a good relationship with Hans because he (Hans Raj Hans) is a singer and Dullo is an all-time politician.
