CHANDIGARH: Punjab Congress chief Capt Amarinder Singh on Monday said the deputy chief minister Sukhbir singhBadal has gone to China to “explore personal investment options.”

“Sukhbir having realised that he had exhausted all options of investment in Punjab and also the fact that he will have enough time post-2017 elections after getting defeated by the Congress, is now looking at business opportunities in unexplored places such as China,” said Amarinder in a statement from the US.

He challenged Sukhbir to show an investment worth a single penny that he has brought to Punjab in the past nine-years. “Any wise person in his place would stop the domestic industry from moving out rather than selling fake dreams to people. Many bicycle makers have moved to Jharkhand.” he said.

Captain said the Akali-BJP regime didn’t believe in having any industrial policy, only in promoting family business.
