Bains brothers protest against pvt cable networks, face criticism

Ludhiana : Trying to get publicity by protesting against private cable TV networks over the allegations of blackout of regional channel, Independent MLA brothers Simrajit Singh Bains and Balwinder Singh Bains on Saturday faced criticism after a poster was circulated on social networking sites.

The poster exposing Bains brothers mentioned that Bains brothers themselves were using complimentary setup box of Fastway Cable network. Recently, the Bains brothers started a drive ‘Cable Hatao Dish Lagao’ in Ludhiana. The opposition claimed that Bains himself is availing services of a cable TV network and getting publicity by distributing Dish TV.

Youth Akali Dal leader Gurdeep Singh Gosha said that Bains were exposed as they have proof that Bains brothers were themselves using Cable network services that too without paying any monthly service. SOI leader Sahibjot Singh Chawla said that Bains failed to deliver to the people of Atam Nagar constituency and is now trying to get publicity by staging protests causing harassment to common people. Meanwhile, a the large number of people circulated the posts against Bains brothers and questioned their silence.
