Chandigarh : With the clamour over non-inclusion of their names in the list of PPCC office bearers reaching the AICC office, more additions in the list of vice presidents and general secretaries is on the cards.

Already there are 36 vice-presidents and 96 general secretaries in recently released list. Though the PPCC chief, Capt Amarinder Singh has already hinted out at accommodating those left out, sources said some former PPCC presidents had sought inclusion of the names of senior Congress workers who had been left out in the previous list.

While most of the sitting and ex-MLAs have been accommodated as the vice-presidents and general secretaries, certain senior workers have taken up their resentment with Shakeel Ahmed and Harish Chaudhary, in- charge of Punjab affairs.

Sources said most of the disgruntled leaders are likely to be accommodated as secretaries in the list to be announced in the coming days. After appointing his confidant Sandeep Sandhu as general secretary along with being office in- charge of the PPCC, Amarinder today appointed Major Amardeep and Karanpal Singh Sekhon as his OSDs.
