Jalandhar : Senior Congress leader and Sufi singer Hans Raj Hans on Friday said Congress will form the next government in the state.
In a statement issued here, Hans said the new team of the PPCC constituted in consultation with PPCC chief and former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, the party gained momentum infused with new enthusiasm, enrgy, determination and vigour to fight with the SAD- BJP combine and AAP.
The PPCC president Capt Amarinder Singh has given a do die battle strategy to the newly elected team at a very recent meeting held at Chandigarh.
Thanking Capt Amarinder for leading a decisive battle against the SAD BJP and AAP, Hans said Congress party is ready to face the Vidhan Sabha elections, which are round the corner.
The party cadre is ready to take Badals and AAP head on.
Hans said every section of society is fed up with the present regime. The law and order situation has worsened and there is complete goondaraj. Unemployment has risen many fold, youth is addicted to drugs, crime is on the rise. There is complete anarchy in the state. There is financial bankruptcy, salaries are not being given to the government employees and no social welfare schemes are being delivered to the pubic. The goons of the present regime daily are targeting the Dalit stratum of the society. The atrocities on Dalits have increased.
Targeting AAP Hans said people of Punjab are very wise enough and they will never ever give a chance to any outsider to rule the state. Moreover the AAP is like a “B” team of the congress and Akali Dal. All the deserted leaders who have left or are shown the door by these two parties have shifted to AAP. / UNI /
