Chandigarh : Congress Legislature Party leader Charanjit Singh Channi today alleged that the Badal government was trying to shield the culprits behind attack on Dhadrianwale. He said it was a known fact that in whose name the vehicles and weapons used in the crime were registered was involved in the attack.

PPCC general secretary Fateh Singh Bajwa also met Dhadrianwale on Sunday. He alleged that the Badal government was trying to vitiate the state’s peaceful atmosphere. He also alleged that the government hand behind the attack on Dhadrianwale could not be ruled out. He demanded a CBI probe into the attack.

Patiala: Former CM and senior Congress leader Rajinder Kaur Bhattal on Sunday met Dhadrianwale and demanded the imposition of President's rule in the state in view of the "deteriorating law and order situation".

She said criminals in Punjab had no fear of law and the attack on the Sikh preacher was a major failure of the government.

Washington : The Indian-American community in the US has urged the Trump administration to “fully support” India’s decision to revoke the constitutional provision that accorded special status to Jammu and Kashmir and to continue to exert pressure on Pakistan to end its support to cross-border terrorism.
