Lambi : The state Congress leadership has shifted its venue for the June 18 protest against the alleged multi-crore recruitment scam from CM’s native Badal village to Lambi.

Gurmeet Singh Khudian, president, District Congress Committee, Muktsar, said, “We have sought a permission from the district administration for protesting against the recruitment scam at a vacant plot opposite the Lambi police station. The protest will be led by PPCC chief Capt Amarinder Singh. We are expecting 18,000 people from Muktsar and Bathinda districts.”
